HELP! For JAPAN – EP will be released on Avenue Of Allies in early March 2012!

The first anniversary of the disastrous earthquake in Japan will be on March 11^th, 2012. The aftermath of this catastrophe is still apparent, and to the present day the Japanese people are facing the impact of the events. The population of the affected area has not been able to completely return to their everyday live and the people are still grateful for our help.

Some of Europe’s leading Rock artists have united to join a campaign initiated by singer Tommy Heart (Soul Doctor, Fair Warning) and recorded a tremendous new version of the classic Beatles song “Help”. The EP “Help! For JAPAN” will be released in Europe on the German label Avenue Of Allies in early March 2012. All income from the sales of this project will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

This EP includes the following four songs :

HELP! (Tommy Heart Version)
HELP! (Guitar Version)
HELP! (Extended Version)

The mastering for “Help!” is finally done!
Renowned German producer Tom Müller (T.M.M.) was in charge for this. He was chief engineer at the legendary Hansa Studios Berlin from 1971 to 1989 and has overseen many cherished moments of music history, from David Bowie to U2, from Depeche Mode to Nina Hagen Band.

EP has been mixed!

The mixing process of four versions of this song (multiple singers, Tommy Heart version, guitar version, extended version) has finally been completed by Tommy Heart and the producer duo Rene Schostak and Tommy Remm (Valicon).

Guitarist Helge Engelke (Fair Warning, Dreamtide) has compiled a guitar version of „Help“ for the project Help! For Japan. This version of the song includes – next to Helge – performances by Kyoji Yamamoto (Bowwow), Roland Grapow (Masterplan), Leo Leoni (Gotthard), Henny Wolter (Nitrogods), Cede Dupont (Downspirit, Symphorce) and Robert R. Rodrigo (Airless).
